About Scottish Endeavour

After serving 22 years in the army with The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and serving on a number of different operations, The Gulf, Bosnia and Kosovo I have experienced some of the conditions that our service men and women have to endure. I have also experienced at first hand the grief and devastation at losing a family member when my mother and daughter died within weeks of one another and to know that my oldest son had a limited life expectancy unless he received a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.

Fortunately for me and of course my son he received his transplant and is doing very well. I cope with the loss of my mother and especially the loss of my daughter through having a fantastic wife and a very supportive family. I managed through my ordeal knowing what happened, seeing and holding my mother and saying my farewells to my daughter. All hear at home with "FAMILY".

Many wife’s/husbands and especially the children don't have that choice and therefore find the situation far more difficult to deal with. If we can raise even the smallest amount of money to alleviate the burden of coping with such a traumatic event and let the minds and bodies of the families left behind escape to a different place of enjoyment, then our mission will have been a success.

Please help us in any way you can and donate to a great cause today.
